I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again. I love my couples. I’ve done a few engagement sessions now, and I honestly learn a LOT through them. Not speaking in photography terms but in life. My couples probably don’t know that while I’m snapping away behind the camera I’m also being inspired and reminded of the little things that will always matter in a relationship. Like subtle glances and grins, simply holding hands, or sneaking kisses. Jay & Rae were that solid reminder. The way Jay would randomly begin to twirl her as they walked through the garden, the way they looked at each other, these two made the moments happen and you could just feel the love!
Jay actually scored points with me before we met, he was the first groom to contact me! Seriously how sweet is this, he knew Rae had been eyeing up my photography for their wedding, so he took action himself to check if I was available. Melt my heart! I couldn’t wait to meet them for their session! We started our day walking the beach during sunrise and then ventured off to Boerner Botanical Gardens (I must return again, so pretty)! Jay looked dapper in his suit and Rae so lovely in her white dress, they made the garden extra beautiful this day. So happy they found me and that I get to be a part of their special day at The Graine Exchange next June! Enjoy their preview!
