Megan and Derek were such an easy couple to work with. I love throwing out little directions (walk and hold hands, give butterfly kisses, twirl her around) and seeing what will happen. Every couple is different and has their own way of expressing their love. With Derek and Megan they never stopped smiling (unless I told them to!), they just kept making moments happen without even knowing it. The adorable in-between moments that are natural and real. Rocking an engagement shoot really has less to do with experience being in front of a camera and more about just being in love! When you’re in love, it automatically shows itself in photos. No questioning Derek and Megan got that going on!

The story of how these two met feels like serendipity! Derek’s been all over the country. Born in Texas, living in Colorado, traveling through work. During his travels he stopped in Milwaukee before he was about to head out east. It was here that he met Megan! They decided to stay in touch, fell in love, and here they are now about to get married and start a life in good ole Wisconsin. Ain’t life just crazy?
