Kelsie & Jason got married on their 10 year anniversary and not only did they plan an incredible wedding, but they are this totally caring, compassionate, genuine couple. From meeting on the soccer field, to long distance dating (including many love letters back and forth) to recently living in Madison with their german shepherd pup Teddy.  They are the real deal, and their love for eachother, their family, their friends, all the Cuuuute little children that made up their day, was evident. The day was such great vibes and I loved seeing the JOY in their smiles all day long. Reading their handwritten letters, their intimate first look, exchanging their personal vows to one another, but also the simple way Jason can make Kelsie smile just by smiling at her.

Of course I have to talk about the details of this day, I was simply blown away by every little aspect. Kelsie’s lace sleeve dress. The Lageret venue they chose, which is an old tobacco warehouse that oozes with romance and charm. Then add in all the lush florals by Jamae… the whimsy asymmetrical greenery that greeted guests as they entered the ceremony space, and the hanging installation to frame Kelsie & Jason as they said “I do!”  It was all so insanely beautiful. I also LOVED that they repurposed their main florals to use as their sweetheart table for dinner (psst, brides – you don’t need florals everywhere, stick to the main points guests will see and repurpose repurpose repurpose!) Kelsie is a talented wedding planner with Elevate Events, so needless to say I knew going into this day that it was going to be stunning, not to mention she hired yet another amazing wedding planner Deanna with Olive Branch Events Co! I’m now a huge fan of wedding planners after working with these two. I really ought to write up a whole separate blog for why it’s so incredibly beneficial to hire a wedding planner or even a day of coordinator. I loved how Kelsie was able to plan plan plan but then on her wedding day, she was able to show up, not as a planner, but as a BRIDE. Throwing all care to the wind and fully enjoying the beautiful day and years worth of anticipation, hand in hand with Jason!!
