Fatima & Ali are this amazing couple that found me on Instagram. They had held a small wedding on the other side of the lake just a month prior, and I’m so happy they reached out to me to get them some outdoor wedding portraits. We headed to the shores of Lake Michigan and Fatima stepped out of the car in the most beautiful gown/veil (required three assistants!) At one point we were on the trail and a little boy looked onwards, eyes wide open and goes “Is that a princess?!?” I left feeling so inspired by everything, including the beautiful burgandy bouquet Fatima put together and I loved that they even brought their invitations and little details for me to photograph! You know I’m all about those details!! I only had an hour with them but could have photographed them forever, I literally get chills seeing the photos of them walking out into the stone pier (almost underwater).
